These presets have been prepared based on images with an average level of brightness, no blown highlights, and no clipping. You may need to adjust the exposure slider to achieve the desired result.
The Amount slider defines the strength of the Template.
If it’s too much, simply reduce the amount with the slider.
I often use luminosity masking to apply certain filters more to the brighter parts of the image.
